ADOPT AN ANTI-CANCER DIET

Our bodies are extremely complex, biological machines.  Machines are able to get certain things done because we provide them with fuel, which they in turn are able to turn into energy.  Your automobile may well be the best example.  Every couple of hundred miles your car will no longer be able to take you where you want to go, unless you fill it up with gasoline.  But there is gasoline, and then there is the specific gasoline that will make your car run cleaner, faster, and smoother.  What would happen if you put diesel into a car designed for regular unleaded fuel?  Almost everyone’s had an experience with a
“bad batch” of gas, and found their car hiccupping and sputtering down the road.  Higher octane fuel can help your car get better performance – but at a higher price.

The sad reality is that many people pay more attention to the kind of fuel they put into their car, a relatively simple machine, than they do to the fuel they put into the highly complex piece of equipment that is the human body.  If we threw the occasional tablespoon of clean gasoline into our car’s tank along with buckets of unprocessed grease, dirt, water, and an assortment of unknown chemicals, would be surprised if the car simply refused to run?  Yet day in and day out our bodies do their level best to sort through what we swallow, keep the best and discard the rest.  Doesn’t it make sense to try and give our bodies the best possible fuel?

One significant difference between cars and humans, of course, is that cars (as far we know) can’t acquire cancer.  When it comes to fueling our cars, we only need to worry about feeding the engine; we don’t have to worry about simultaneously starving some other part of our automobile.  Yet someone with cancer is faced with exactly that paradox. The body needs to be fed so it can continue to function.  But that same food can also be used to fuel the growth of the cancer.  In many cases, the fuel that should be energizing the body’s health cells ends up only feeding the cancerous ones.
